Position Overview | North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families, and communities. Responsibilities | ABOUT YOU You are a team player committed to community. You will plan and instruct developmentally appropriate music classes and dynamic lesson plans. You will be working in a creative environment utilizing your leadership and people skills while maintaining a safe environment to engage students to expand their interest in music. You are an excellent communicator with a positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude. |
Requirements |
SKILLS REQUIRED:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Candidates must have formal music training and 2 years teaching experience. All instructors working with children must have a current Emergency First Aid certificate and HIGH FIVE: Principles of Healthy Child Development training (available online through BCRPA). |
Compensation | $24.00-$38.00 per hour, based on training & experience |
Hours of Work | 2-6 hours a week, hours may vary and instructors should be prepared to work days, evenings and/or weekends at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. |
