Responsibilities
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

We are looking for a team player committed to maintaining NVRC’s facilities in order to provide excellent experiences for our customers. You will perform building service work on an assigned shift in a recreation facility.

ABOUT YOU

You are courteous and effective with customers. You have knowledge of setting up a room for the event and equipment used in building services; the ability to perform cleaning tasks, and minor maintenance duties; working knowledge of the standard methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial care and maintenance of buildings. You are able to perform tasks that includes some manual work. You can understand and execute oral instructions.
Requirements
DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should have completed Grade 8, preferably supplemented by the training related to the work plus related experience OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

All candidates must be available to work at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a requirement of the position.
Compensation The pay range for this unionized position ranges from $25.22 to $29.48 per hour.
Hours of Work This is a regular full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, involving shift work including days, evenings and weekends based on operational needs.
