ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently looking for returning Summer Day Camp Leaders for our various indoor and outdoor camps including programs for school-aged children and youth from June 24 – August 30, 2024. The hours of work will vary according to where you are placed and the registration numbers.

You are a team player committed to community engagement and youth development. Courteous and effective in public interactions, you thrive in diverse group settings. Your ability to prepare and lead a wide range of programs and activities, including sports, arts, leadership workshops, and outdoor adventures, sets you apart. Highly enthusiastic, you excel in motivating and empowering youth. Demonstrating sound judgment and leadership skills, you create detailed lesson plans and camp itineraries, manage camp budgets, and make program bookings. Your capacity to work closely with youth, parents, and facility staff ensures a safe and enriching camp environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working with youth in camp, arts, leadership development, or sports settings. Applicants may also be considered for the Camp Leader (Playground Leader I) position 

All candidates must undergo a Police Information Check as a requirement of the position and must be willing to work at any of our facilities, indoors or outdoors.
