North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families and communities. We offer a wide range of recreation and cultural programs and services to residents of all ages and abilities. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic and friendly individuals to deliver memorable and quality fitness instruction to our customers.

You are an energetic and highly-motivated individual who is available to instruct one or more of our fitness programs. You have an excellent understanding of the specific fitness category and skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class. You are a team player who is committed to community. You are reliable, responsive to customer needs and excellent at building relationships. You are courteous and effective with the public and enjoy working with a diverse group of people and instructing in a safe and friendly manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will have a Group Fitness certification from a recognized provider, BCRPA Group Fitness certification or equivalent, and a current certification in Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED. Additional certification in TRX and/or Spin is preferred.

All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a condition of employment.
